I personally have had the same problem with Universal remotes. The best solution is to buy the correct remote. I would first call the manufacturer to see what they would charge you for a new one. Then ask if they sell refurbished ones. Also check online for an OEM remote. You could probably get one for less than the universal remote.
Most universal remotes don't have the screen mode button. So, your better off with the orginal remote for the TV.

are you sure the remote is working if you have a digital camera point it at the digital camera and the view finder in the camera will pick up the infrared light if the remote is working, if it is go to polariod .com codes and they will have the right one's if not you will need the remote its 28.oo plus tax and shippimg for a polaroid factory replacement. ordered from polaroid.
