The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Further useful removal information can be found here WWW.UKBOOKSHELF.CO.UK

My renault kangoo van radio/cd player has stopped working. It was when the weather got below -10. No work has been done to te van. Any suggestions?

If the battery went dead or the radio lost power at any time you will need to re-enter the code for it to work again. If this is not the case check the fuse for it as it may have blown in which case you will be required to enter the radio code after replacing the fuse.

My 2004 ford freestar van 's 6 cd player isn't working since I put a new battery in the van. The radio displays "check player". The radio works fine. is there a code or something else I'm missing?

I am having the same code display after a new battery. I brought the van into the local Ford dealer for something else and told them about the radio. They wanted $150 to diagnose each problem I was having with the van. What a rip-off, I didn't have them "diagnose" the player. Does anyone have a fix for this?

How do i remove radio/cd player from expert van

It all depends on the MAKE + MODEL of the radio

see if this site helps

http://www.fitaudio.com/

If your radio has 4 holes on the front, then see below
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is a video showing how to remove your radio from the dashboard. A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay , Halfords etc ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end)  or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.

An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips

How to remove the cd player from Honda odyssey EX 2002 model

The trim panel that surrounds the radio and contains the climate controls and possibly 1 or 2 other switches needs to be removed. Apply gentle, even pressure on the edges and gradually move to the other edges, and the clips should pop out.

I would advise against unplugging the climate controls or radio however other switches can be unplugged safely.

Once the panel with the climate controls is removed there should be 4 phillips head screws holding the radio in place; remove those and you should be golden.
