Firstly you have to install the drivers of the webcam on your PC. That you seem to have done as you can see yourself. That means that the camera is being recognized by the PC. Now to get it to work with Yahoo, you have to tell Yahoo to use this camera as default camera while you video talk. To do that you must go to Yahoo Preferences and->Video. There you must specify this camera as the default camera. Save settings. Now you would be able to video talk in Yahoo. To use it with other IMs like Skype etc, the procedure remains the same. Problem in computing is that each and everything has to be told how to do what.

assuming that u r using win xp pro sp2..n all the drivers are installed correctly..with proper print n file sharing turned on..

to hv better supervision try contacting ur system admin/vendor....

Try jiggling the lens. Use compressed air to blow out any grit around the lens barrel. If that doesn't do it, you'll need to get the camera serviced.

YOUR SOUND CARD IS EITHER DISABLED , MALFUNCTIONING, IF INSTALLING THE DRIVER DOESN'T WORK REPLACE OR ADD A SOUND CARD

does it even hav a web camera

did you get the 64 bit or 32 bit driver? ... which version is your computer?...... also make sure that the device is not giving any error codes in the device manager and , that the sound is selected as the system default
