Try retrieving your account information from another computer and then log in through your own. I would download MalwareBytes from CNET.com and run that (a free anti-malware and anti-spyware program) to make sure your computer is free from viruses first though.

You need to do several things to solve the problem. First clear your history, temporary, cache and cookie files. Than Update Adobe Flash, Macromedia Shock-wave and your Browser. Restart your computer each time you finish an update. Do Not try installing more than one update at the same time. as these are all designed to work together. After that Install the latest version of the windows 7 Codec Pack and then the latest version of Direct X 11. After this run windows update and than try to run the Facebook page again.

If it runs after all these updates that would suggest to me that you need to run a full virus scan ASAP. with all other applications closed including windows explorer.

Close all running applications than start a full detailed virus scan. Then press Crtl-Alt-Del and start Task Man click on process and scroll till you find explorer select and press del on keyboard. Close task man and leave computer running for 24 hours.

This will rule out the possibility of any virus or malware contaminants on your computer.
I would suggest doing this because updating your computer alone should not solve the problem, unless the problem was caused by a virus or malware.

After the update you need to go back on to Facebook login reset your account history and reset your account details, next Reactivate your account and resend your activation code this should solve the problem.

You could still have a virus, or more plausibly, you could have a lock on your FB account from an administrator for any number of reasons. If so, you would likely get an email saying it was banned or locked. Try looking up your FB account status to make sure it isn't banned or locked. Beyond that, try asking FB customer service about it.
You could additionally try running a scan despite it's normal schedule.

I can't sign into my fb page. I am on my Daughter's computer & got on yesterday

are you sure you're typing your account information in correctly? Double-check that the Caps Lock key is not active. When you were last on your daughter's computer, did you sign out before closing the web browser? Have you run a virus/spyware scan recently with an updated antivirus/antispyware program?
There are 3 possible reasons why you cannot log into your facebook page- 1) Something is causing you to not type your account information into facebook correctly. 2) Someone else got onto your daughter's computer after you used it, and if you left yourself logged in, changed your password. 3) A malicious program or hacker has changed your facebook password information, so they may use it for their own purposes.
For all three, I would recommend these steps: first, try typing in your facebook account information again, being meticulously careful to input your information in correctly. double and triple-check the caps lock key. second, run a virus scan on your computer with updated antivirus software. third, after a failed attempt to imput your account information, beneath the text box where you would normally imput your password, there will be an option saying "Forgot your Password?" in small text. This will lead you to a page where you must answer the security questions you entered when you set up the account- but once answered correctly, will allow you to reset your password.
Have a good day, hope this helps!

You have a virus on your computer. Log in on a different computer and change your password. This will keep the virus from logging in to your account. Then scan your computer for viruses and spyware. If you need free antivirus software, click here http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Free-Antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.html?part=dl-85737&subj=dl&tag=button

Try a virus/spyware scan of your system.I suggest Malwarebytes, Google, download, update and scan. If it does not update then your system is surely infected. If you find anything and it cannot be removed or if it reappears then boot in safe mode if that is available in your OS and scan again.

I have a virus in my facebook account

Your "computer" is infected, not your Facebook account. An educated guess is that the virus is a Trojan and has some type of keylogger with it.

Go to http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and download the free program to scan your computer. After you have removed all virus from your computer, then sign into Facebook and change your information. I would also change information for email and any other online accounts you have logged into since you got this virus. If there is an option to do so, also change your "secret questions" that are used for a password reset.

Hope this helps you.

When I try logging on to FB it goes to ask.com What's the problem.

Sorry to hear that davedogg1967, appears that other people is having the some similar issues, so maybe (I'm not sure about it) facebook website may have problems.

If you are able to login into your account from another computer, it's a good idea to check you computer for viruses and other badware. If you don't have a antivirus, run MRT (microsoft removal tool) or windows defender (can be downloaded from microsoft website). Some badware redirects the traffic from your computer to other websites.

I hope you good luck!

Trojan virus's are rooted very deep and are nearly impossible to be removed. Most tech representatives say you should just swipe your hard drive and start from scratch.
