My Uncle recently passed on. I got is telescope. I have a 2 yr, old newer and stronger one. What is his Tasco 60mm 500x240x150 Reg.#57500 worth now? Its around a 1962 Model.
Verify that the mirrors are aligned; look through the eyepiece holder (without an eyepiece) and you should see the main mirror with your eye looking back from the center. Ensure that there are no filters on the eyepiece, and use the lowest power one to begin (longest focal length).
Is this a reflector or a refractor style telescope. Does it have a MIRROR in the bottom?? or just a small lens in the front of the tube (refractor)????
