Question about Acer Aspire 3610 Notebook
Go to this and choose your system. download the file (may take a while) and burn it onto a cd. put it in the laptop's cd drive and start up the laptop. you may have to configure the laptop to boot from the cd, when the laptop is starting, hold down the delete key on the keyboard. you should now be in the bios. go into the "boot order" section and set the cd/dvd drive as "1" the hard drive as "2" and anything else as three and so on. reboot the laptop. it will boot to the cd. it will recover the passwords automatically.
