Question about Kodak Office Equipment & Supplies

The g 610 printer is not recognized by my computer and therefore I am unable to print photos from my files.

Hi Al. If you still would like to be able to print from Kodak Easy Share, you will want to add the driver. Go to http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn033119.jhtml?pq-path=10811 and select your Operating System. They will then allow you to download the appropriate driver.

That is for the G6100 Printer Dock. If you have another G6100 product, go here http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=2/3/10/7895&pq-locale=en_US&_requestid=2954 and enter the requested information for the appropriate driver.

We had the USB port in upside down on the printer (go figure)! Once we reversed the USB cord and updated the software using the Kodak trouble shooting site,my computer added the new printer.

But we were still unable to print from the Kodak easy share, but were able to print from Adobe Photo shop.

you need to change the print settings in the program where you are printing, when you go to print settings the option should be in the dialog box where you choose the printer and page amount.

Hi,

Before you can troubleshoot the problem, determine its cause. Do the following steps in order:
1. Print another PDF, such as the first page of Acrobat Help.
  • If a separate PDF file prints correctly, the PDF that doesn't print correctly could be damaged. See "Can't print a specific PDF file" later in this document.
  • If the separate file doesn't print correctly, go to step 2.
2. Print another type of file (for example, a plain text file) from another application (such as Microsoft Word or WordPad).
  • If that other type of file prints correctly, the problem isn't system-wide--it's specific to the Adobe Reader or Acrobat product. However, the problem could come from Reader or Acrobat interacts with the system. Go to step 3 to eliminate some system-related causes of the problem.
  • If that other type of file doesn't print correctly, the problem is system-wide--it isn't specific to Acrobat or PDFs. The problem could be low system resources, insufficient memory on your printer, or a poor connection between your computer and the printer. Go to step 3 to eliminate some likely causes of the problem.
3. Restart your computer, and then print a PDF.
  • If the file prints correctly, your system may have been out of memory or resources.
  • If the file doesn't print correctly, go to step 4.
4. Turn off your printer for at least 15 seconds to flush its memory. Then turn it back on and print a PDF.
  • If the file prints correctly, the printer's memory was too full or had become corrupt.
  • If the file still doesn't print correctly, go to step 5.
5. Print from another computer.
  • If the file prints correctly from another computer, the computer you first used may be unable to connect to the printer or the network correctly. Consult your network documentation or contact your network administrator.
  • If the file still doesn't print correctly, go to step 6.
6. Print a PDF to another printer.
  • If the file prints correctly to a different printer, the computer you first used may be unable to connect to the original printer. Communication, hardware, or memory problems can cause this kind of connection problem. Make sure that the printer is turned on and connected properly. Then run a self-test on the printer to make sure that it's working correctly. Consult your printer documentation for self-test instructions or contact your network administrator.
  • If the file doesn't print correctly, see "Can't print any file from any application" later in this document.

Keeps saying paper jamed when I try to print


On the Epson website it is confirmed that the Epson WorkForce 610 will not recognize transparency media. It is just the way the printer works; if it can see through the media, it doesn't think it's there.
However.....you can tape a sheet of white paper to the non-printable side of the transparency, and it prints just fine. I put two strips of scotch tape on either side, top and bottom. Works great. It's kind of a hassle, but better than not being able to print transparencies at all!

Microsoft does not recognize my printer and therefore I am unable to print. A message used to come up asking if I would allow access and then Micrsoft did an update and now I can't use my printer at all.


Hello. Try to run the installation cd again like you're installing the printer for the first time. If still no go, uninstall the software by going to Start Menu > Programs > Lexmark Series folder > Tools > uninstall. Restart the computer. That should refresh your computer. Reinstall the software. I'm unable to delete a job from the queue. And therefore, I'm unable to print anything else. Any ideas of what to do? Thank you!


Open the print Queue, click the print job that is hanging and then from the menu, I believe under file, click pause. Once it is paused tried to delete the print job.
