    Thanks for your response!!

This is highly suggestive of stuck relay on the interface board and you will need to replace the board. This is also known as the clock on your model, you can order this part at http://www.apwagner.com/
if you wish to replace it yourself, alot of kitchen aid products come
with a 5 year electronics warranty though so you will want to check your
    owners manual before replacing it.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

    Hope i helped you.

    Thanks for your response!!

I would rather advise you to call the tech rather than swapping parts. There is no definite test to identify the same. Only after replacement, you would be able to know whether it works or not ( though 99% probability is stuck relay ). If you call a tech, they would have this part in stock or usually we have agreement that we could return the part if problem would not be resolved. Be advised the cost of the part would be around $200 plus labor cost. A general thumb rule - If the cost of the repair is more than half the cost of the product, then it is wise to invest in new unit.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

    Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Temperature Control Thermostat

If the oven won't turn off the oven thermostat is often the cause of the problem. The electrical contacts inside the oven thermostat can weld themselves together and then the oven won't turn off. If this happens, turn off power to the entire appliance at the household circuit breaker or fuse. The oven thermostat usually cannot be tested and must be replaced if defective.

Oven Control Board

The oven control board has a set of relays that turn on and off power to the bake and broil circuits according to the customer settings and sensor input. If the oven won't turn off it could be that one of the relays on the oven control board is shorted closed, providing voltage to the heating circuit. It can be dangerous if the oven won't turn off. Don't leave the oven unattended without turning off power to the oven.

Relay board:
Some ovens are equipped with a relay board. This circuit board has several relays which control the switching of electrical current to the oven heat source. If the oven won't turn off it may be that one or more of the relays on the relay board have failed. If this happens replace the relay board. The relays on the board are not sold separately. ALSO CHECK THE BAKE AND BROIL ELEMENT.

Oven will not turn off

Good Morning Friend,

I understand your Frigidaire oven will not turn off. I also see that when you turn it off, the blower and heating element, stay on. The blower will stay on to help cool down the oven, but the heating element should turn off. I see that you have to turn your oven off at the circuit breaker. I suggest contacting your local authorized dealer for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine why your oven will not turn off. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-
