What you can do is reinstall your OS and pick the rights settings leave them all normal or your second option is to check your hard drive for error and run a program for that or your third option is disconnect the power from your motherboard it a big16-18 pin connector running from the power supply then disconnect the power supply cable that run to the wall outlet wait 2-5 minuets then plug the motherboard power connector the connect the power from the power supply back turn it on and you PC should not freeze or stop after booting if its still does get a new hard drive...
