Hey how r u?.............One reason your monitor keeps doing this is because your monitor has a shortage in its cords. This might make the monitor have a mid of its own.
This is because the monitor's Power Button Lockout function is enabled. Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to unlock the Power button function. Your sleep problem should also be related to the lockout issue.
I FIX LOTS OF COMPUTER, AND MY ADVISE IS. IT MIGHT BE YOUR COMPUTERS VIDEO CARD CAUSING THAT PROBLEM . ALSO CHECK FOR VIRUSES THEY CAN DO STRANGE THINGS.
Are you saying that the monitor is going to sleep or the computer? If the computer goes to sleep I can understand not being able to get to your programs. This is a simple matter of turning off hybirnate in the power supply icon of your control panel. If the monitor is going to sleep there should be a menu with a timer for sleep time. Just change it to a much longer time or turn it off.
start button >settings >control panel > Power Option > set time for monitor to sleep if inactive...if you dont want the computer to sleep go up to the hibernate tab and uncheck it. If you want the computer to stay on regardless, move all drop down menus to "never" instead of a time.
Check the power setting in control panel of windows. If you have a monitor from another computer swap them and see if the problem stays with the computer or monitor.
In windows click start, control panel, power options. On the first page"when the computer is plugged in" turn monitor off NEVER on the hibernate tab uncheck enable hibernation if checked, also disable sleep mode
Hi,First there is no signal from the PC . check if the display card has come out while moving the monitor, or just reinsert the display card in the PC , then boot the pc .
