Question about Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 DVD Player
I lost sound (not picture) so I followed advice in these forums and I pressed the stop button for 20 sec which reset it. . I regained sound but then lost picture. I have tried repeated resets this way but still no pic. I have taken apart reconnected the video wires (component) just to be sure it is not due to poor connection but without benefit: ie it is not the wires. (there are no p/n buttons on its remote control either; I tried the other options in these forums of pressing setup and then sequences of green keys without avail).
Your advice is appreciated.
Problem fixed: I realized that the problem was that with resetting the player it defaulted to the standard video ouput ie no longer sending signal through the component video. I used a standard video cable and connected player to tv with that and it had a picture. Then I changed the setting to progressive output and got picture signal through the component cable again.
