If the problem reappears,, you might need a thermodisc check,, if one is getting to hot your machine will go bonkers , Once cooled it will seem to work fine again

Sears Large Capacity dryer will tumble, and blow air, but it's cold air and won't dry the clothes.

Hi Jill,
This is probably the heater coil inside the dryer. If you have someone around that is handy with tools, they can get the front of the unit off, and replace it, or if not, you can call a service person in to do it ( it will cost a bit more than having someone that can do it for you ) The part usually isn't that expensive, nor is it difficult to install, but that's my opinion. If you wish more information, don't hesitate to ask

My acer Aspire 3500 wont turn on. It was fine a few hours ago but now wont boot. I keep getting the acer picture featurning the f2 set up and then the screen turns blank with a white flashing - in the left...

if you activity lights on, try connecting to an external monitor or modern flat screen tv. if the screen is flashing then it is probably a screen issue. eg the invertor r screen has failed.

My beko tumble dryer drcs68w does not heat up, i have taken the back off and checked all the connections between the heater and the control panel,if i do a reset by holding the cancell button for aprox ten...

its a trip switch, if its tripping then there is a fault with the element, it is either clogged up or shorting out when it heats up. i would think it needs replacing. becareful with dryers as there have been a lot of beco products over the years.

Too many rpms, how do i slow my dryer down? t731

Welcome to FixYa.

The first thing which comes to mind is this, have you brought this machine into north america from overseas ?

I ask because this is a problem which can manifest from the motor operating on 60hz cycle but designed for a 50hz cycle.

The drum will actually spins too fast hence the items don`t tumble but rather stay pushed to the perimeter of the drum...thus not drying.

If you open the door and run the dryer, the drum on an Asko T731 dryer should rotate at 52rpm. I use a piece of tape on the drum to keep count.

Let me know what you find and we`ll go from there.

Dryer was working fine before I left on vacation, came home and dryer has power, but it won't tumble. Timer seems to work for a few minutes then everything shuts down

HELLO im18; It may be sensers around the heating element that may have triped because there is a belt BROKEN that drives tumbler, and the air fan as well. You may have to get someone that knows about these things too fix it as well, sorry. John.....!

Tumble dyer

first, you should check the exhaust system, make sure every inch of it is clean on the inside. if it is clogged, there is sensors that turn off your heating element as a safety measure. if this is clean, there is 2 heat sensors, one of them probably needs replaced.
