Look for pinched drain hose, and then look for plugged screens (<<not so easy to do)

Dishes and glassware are filmy after the cycle. There is salt in the washer.


Probably not draining properly so wont rinse.Put end of drain hose into bucket to check,you should get a good flow.

Drain hose clogged or Not ran in the proper draining position, under the sink where the hose ties into the drain system or garbage disposal, the hose should be higher than the connection point, I have fixed this by tie strapping hose to the bottom of the counter or sink, hope that helps ?

Have a whirlpool dish washer it wont work the cancel drain button is blinking how do i reset that thanks


have you tried refilling salt and rinse aid?
if that do'nt work it probably needs servicing it could be drain pipe blockage.

Dishwasher seems to be clogged, wont drain


I had the same problem and it was solve by checking the food disposal were the dish washer is usually attached for draining, if you resently replaced the disposal it could be that the drain hold was never openned. I hope this helps

Kenmore dish washer wont drain


Those are Chinese massage balls. You place them in your palm and rub them together and the result is a "calming" effect, which are ingeniously placed their by the courteous engineers at Kenmore to help you relax while you perform the self-repair. Just kidding. I had the same problem and learned that they are called "float balls". There should a small hole where the water comes up and drains - they are placed in that hole.

Drain pump is either faulty or blocked, follow drain hose back to d/washer pump is at the end, always isolate from power supply before attempting any work
