When plugged in the lights go yellow and do not turn green. Usually it goes from yellow to green in about 5 minutes but now it does not. Not sure if it is the computer, the cable or the device itself. It does not recognise the device until it goes green.

The green light means that that all is ok with the sound card it has been installed
turn off your computer before doing this
you might have to remove your soundcard and clean the socket to make sure it is dust free
be sure to wear an earth strap before touching anything inside your computer
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
hope this helps

Greetings Gurus. I have Makita charger model DC18RC, battery model is 18v BL1815...manual is of limited help. I'm trying to understand what the indicator lights mean, what the time is for charging,

I agree that the pictographs are not very helpful. You probably have one of the new chargers. I have an old one, which is a little easier to figure out.

From top to bottom

1. The flashing green light with the electric plug indicates that the unit is plugged in and ready to go.
2. The flashing red little fan means that the battery is too warm so it is just cooling it and not charging it at that moment.
3. The solid red empty battery outline means that it is charging but hasn't got very far, less than 80% full.
4. The mostly full battery outline with both solid red and green lights at the same time means it is 80% full or more
5. The full battery outline and solid green with the musical notes means it is full up.
6. The broken battery outline with flashing red and green means you've got a broken battery.
7. The yellow light with the wrench means the charger is "conditioning" the battery, whatever that means.
8. The yellow light with the fan means "cooling abnormality."

Hope this helps

I have a Canon Pixma iP4000 with a baffling problem. When I turn it on, the lights flash in this pattern: 4 green, 5 yellow, 1 green, 5 yellow, the yellow light stays on for a moment, then the printer goes...

Follow these steps to reset the printer:

1. Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).

2. Disconnect the data cable from the printer (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared) .

3. Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. If troubleshooting a communication issue, reconnect the data cable (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared).

Jayco camper has 6-plug connector------car has flat 4-plug connector where do green, yellow, brown and white wires from car flat 4-plug connector connect to on yellow, blue, brown, red, green and white wires...

Hello,

It would be easiest, and best, if you were to upgrade the cars' trailer connector. The 4 way just supplies brake, parking, turnsignal, and a ground. The colors are the same on the 6 way, but 2 lines are added, usually for a electric brake controller and aux. circuit. Be careful about using the battery line (Red) on the 6 way connector unless you are also upgrading the white wire to a heavier gauge (at least the same size as red).

Green - Stop and Right Turn Signal (4/5/6/7 way)
Yellow - Stop and Left Turn Signal (4/5/6/7 way)
Brown - Running Lights (tail, side, tag) (4/5/6/7 way)
White - Ground / Negative (4/5/6/7)
Blue - Electric Brakes (5/6/7 way)
Red - Aux. charge line for emergency break away, battery charger, etc. (7 way)
Purple - Aux. backup lights / other purpose (7 way)
