What does Code nf on washer machine Samsung vrt model mean

NF indicates no water flow. This could mean that the incoming water valves were shut-off, the incoming water flow is low, or that the washer didn't detect the water flow into the washer correctly. If the drain hose is too low, the washer could fill and drain simultaneously. This can also cause the problem.

First if the washer is not getting any water, then check your shut-off valves and the hoses. Disconnect the hoses from the washer and place a bucket under them. Check the flow by turning on each valve for a bit. Clean or replace the filters at the shut-off valves and in the washer. Consider replacing the hoses. Some anti-flood hoses will reduce the water flow if they detect leaks. Make sure that the hoses are not kinked. If the water flow is good at the shut-off valves, then the inlet valve may have failed in the closed position.

If water is filling the washer, then the problem is in the water flow detection system. This could indicate the small reed switch is damaged, the air tube to the reed switch is clogged or that tube has a hole in it. Some washers check for fill by the change in the drum weight. This signal may not be reaching the control unit due to a problem with the sensor or the wiring.

If the washer is filling and draining, pull your drain hose up. It is below the washer fill level. This creates a vacuum that will drain the washer.

I hope this helps.

Whirlpool duet 8E error code, what is the cause?

F8E0Steam valve failureCheck the water supply hoses for kinks. Check for a restricted screen in the water valves. Replace the steam valve if defective.

F8E1No water detectedMake sure that both water supply valves behind the washer are fully open. In winter, check the fill lines for freezing. Check the drain system for a siphon problem. If the water valve assembly is defective, replace it.

F8E2Dispenser failureThe dispenser can't move into position. Unplug the washer and check the mechanical linkage on the dispenser housing. Repair or replace any damaged dispenser parts.

F8E3Overflow conditionUnplug the washer and, if the washer is overfilled, check the water valve assembly for proper shut-off of water flow. If the water valve assembly is defective, replace it. If the washer is empty when this error code appears, replace the water level pressure switch.

F8E4Low water flowThe flow meter detects a long fill time. Make sure that both water supply valves behind the washer are fully open. In winter, check the fill lines for freezing. Check the drain system for a siphon problem. If the water valve assembly is defective, replace it. If water flows normally, replace the flow meter.

F9E1Long drainRemove excess suds; the washer can't drain excessively sudsy water. Check your house drain system for a clog. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. Replace the drain pump if defective. If the washer drains properly, replace the water level pressure switch because it isn't accurately detecting the water level.

Water not coming out

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. After the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water.

To get an idea of how to remove and reset the filter and drain pump the following video will be useful.

Water accumilation, not cleaning well

greetings,
if your water in coming in while your not using it..its possible , its not draining properly and the drain water is flowing back into d/w...look under sink and make sure the drain hose is looped up high to keep the water from flowing down...kind of like a syphon break...now, there is a check valve also that prevents water from flowing back..BUT, with your not clean issue...i'm betting on the drain hose.....Bruce Denton

Cold water ok, no water flow from hot water lines.

Bypass valve incorrectly set
obstruction or dirty tank
plugged line - lime or other! does cold flow into tank ok?
Tank is split water going somewhere you can't see - this should be obvious.

There is not really anything to obstruct the flow normally so there
would have to be an obstruction somewhere. Lime, junk, garbage etc build up .
On my coach I have lots of pressure on the cold side so hot would have to have the same unless there is an obstruction into or out of the tank. If in the bypass position you have sufficient flow than the lines are ok and the problem or obstruction is in the tank itself. Drain the tank, leave the bottom plug out, open up the pressure relief valve. Turn on the water and see if you get a lot of water draining from the drain hole on the tank. There should be a lot of water coming out of the drain hole. If so that tells you that your getting sufficient flow into the hot water tank. If so your problem is the water getting out of the tank. Like a clogged return line or an obstruction from the water tank to the faucet. A dirty scale lined tank can do a number on tank water flow. Also check to see if the water is going somewhere else, your tank could be split and you just can't see where the water is going!

Washer will not drain

Maybe the pump is not working is why its not draining. When your maching is on the section where it should drain the pump is supposed to be on and drain the water. Could also be your switch.

Dehumdifier won't drain

You just need to get the water flowing and start the siphoning process by taking out the water bucket while it's full of water and raising it up high enough to start the water flowing. Once the water starts flowing, you can put the bucket back and the water will keep flowing (by capillary action). If the bucket empties completely, you may have to do it again periodically to get the water flowing again.

Water flow through humidifier

I installed this humidifier (and had a lot of trouble installing it!) and was surprised by the flow of water. Mine leaks out of the bottom of the unit so I haven't actually used it yet. I'll try to figure out why it's leaking this weekend. I thought there would be less water flowing through the pad. I suspect that the weight of the unit is causing it to not be plumb so some water is dripping off of the pad and past the drain tray.
