I am sorry, but I didn't get my problem solved from the other expert that answered my email. He told me how to take the back of the hone off and to remove the battery, but not how to remove the sim card from the Motorola RazarV3. I already know how to do all fo that, in fact the battery is out of the phone and the back is off and I just need for someone to tell me how to remove the sim card that won't budge no matter what I do to try and get it out. Is it possible to ge a pair of needle nose jewelers pliars to gras it when I push down on the sim card to see if I can get it out by doing that. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks so much for your help. You were very helpful. You were right; my husband has had his sim card in his phone for eons and eons, in fact he told me that he had never taken it out of his phone so knowing this you were absolutely 100 per cent correct in your summation about it being in the telephone for a long time and could be hard to remove which it was and it didn't come out.

To be on the safe side I am going to take it to the AT&T Store and let them take it out and if there is a problem then it is AT&T's problem to make it good...and also by being their they can check to see how it is configured and make the changes.

I plan on keeing this email with your instructions on how to remove the sim card in his phone, but removing my sim card if need be.

You have been very helpful and I do appreciate it. Take Care and have a good weekend.

I am sorry to hear that you didn't solve your problem with the help of the other expert. Well, it's not a difficult issue, but if you handle it without proper knowledge, you may damage it. If you've already removed the battery and the cover, you have only two steps to remove it.

Slide the sim card as shown below:
I have a Motorola Razor - nonontech_371.jpg
Press and slide it towards the right hand side (according to the picture shown above), it should slide out without any problem, but if it doesn't, I guess, it's never been removed for a long time or so. In that case, you can use a pair of tweezer, but don't ever use a pointed tweezer, that would damage your sim card. Use a flat head tweezer, a bigger tweezer will be better. Hold/Clip the two side eg. up and down faces, slide the sim card with your finger or you can use a smooth edge object to help push it while you pull it with the tweezer. Do this slowly, don't do it forcefully, make sure you pull it out to the right direction.

There is no lock or level to lock the sim card, it's just slided in to the slot.

Let me know if you need further help.

Good Luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

1. Ensure that your phone is turned off.

2. Press in and hold the battery door latch
at the back an bottom of the phone. If it is not sliding out, exact little pressure to pull the cover off.

3. Carefully rotate the battery cover upwards and lift it completely off the phone and set it to the side.

4. Push in toward the bottom of the phone and lift the end of the battery first, it will free and you can remove the battery from the phone.

5.You can now have access to the sim, carefully remove the sim card.

Yes, he can use it, it will work fine as far as the phone is not configure with the phone from the manufacturer.

Slide the SIM card upward to remove it from the phone. With little pressure Slide the SIM card gently out of its holder with
your fingers. You can pull it out of the holder from the top.

You can also use an eraser
from a pencil until its out enough to grab with your fingers
comfortably. Try not to press down as much as push or pull it the
direction its suppose to go out.

No reception? HELP??

It sounds like your phone is not unlocked. Did you get the phone through a different provider and your sim card through some one else? For ex, here in US, a cingular SIM will not work in a Sprint phone.
