Question about Elite Microwave Ovens
The F9 fault code indicates an inverter failure. This is sometimes caused by a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines that can prevent the control boards inside the microwave from working properly. It can also be caused by a failed inverter, a bad electronic control board or an internal wiring failure.
Try unplugging the microwave for 5 minutes and then plug it back in. If the F9 returns, then the microwave will need to be serviced by a technician because the entire control system will need to be changed.
