If your RD4 unit doesn't recognise that there is a new source then try the following:Connect up everything as explained in the instructions that came with the kit. Turn on the ignition of the car. You will notice that there is a small black rectangular box that came with the kit. Disconnect this i.e. unplug the connector from the black box. Wait a minute or two. Reconnect it. All other connections must be connected and the ignition should be on during this process. The RD4 should now recognise the aux source. You can test this by pressing the 'SRC' button. It should indicate that it is changed on the display.

SOURCE: I am able to select

Is there a cd inside of the cd mechanism? If there is, you can try resetting the radio. If that doesn't work, try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.

Not too sure here, but try cleaning the cd. May be scratched or dirty and the stereo can not read it . Other than that, sounds like a stereo issue.

Peugeot 207 radio stuck in AUX source

The Peugeot 207 Outdoor is an amiable, if not especially engaging, hatchback. With its enhanced size and "offroad-inspired'' grey protective panels, the latest variant - the Outdoor HDI Touring - is a very useful diesel hatch/wagon.------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, also.... I am trying to use my AUX input but "AUX" is not an option on the Source menu. The only options are tuner and CD.

In order to use the Aux, you must connect the source to aux port, then using the source select aux and you should hear the sound coming out.

Here is the link to the manual:

I cannot figure out how to change my aux settings to on. Nor the d-aux. any help? I am also unable to change the display color.

try this

Setting the AUX Mode (V-Link)
AUX IN ON / AUX IN OFF (Initial setting)
You can input TV/video sound by connecting an optional Ai-NET/
RCA Interface cable (KCA-121B) or Versatile Link Terminal (KCA-
410C) to this component.
You can change the AUX name display when AUX ON is set. Select
the AUX name by pressing g or f. Then press BAND.
If the KCA-410C is connected, it is possible to select two AUX
names.
• Via KCA-410C, up to 2 external devices with RCA output can be
connected. In this case, press SOURCE/POWER to select AUX
mode and then press BAND to select your desired device.

My Aux-in wont work

did you turned aux function?

turn off your player by pressing and holding volume controler.
press and hold longer (~5 sec) it again to turn it on (you should see 'tuner' in the lcd).
push up arrow to select aux and right/left to turn it on.

now you can connect your ipod and select aux (as ussual switching between tuner/cd player/aux)

cheers :)

Can't get into AUX source

Are you sure it is an AUX input? According to the Manufacturers Specs, the AUX, is an optional accessory. There is a Pre-Amp connection, which would be an output, hence causing the problem you are having. Best of Luck.
