For an apple ipod you must connect it to the computer via usb. You must also install the itunes program here http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ . After you have downloaded and installed itunes, open it and click on music under library, then simply drag and drop your desired music to the itunes window. After you have finished, go down to (the name of your ipod)'s ipod and click on it. then simply click the button synchronize or sync. Then wait till your ipod or itunes says that it is ok to disconnect. after that you should have all of your desired music on your ipod. please rate my solution, good or bad.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My apple ipod 8gb was handed down to me and it had a bunch of other things in it. i put my songs in it but when i opened my ipod it still wouldnt show my songs.

You need to put songs on your iPod through iTunes. You need to have iTunes installed on your computer. It's a free download from Apple. Load your CD's into iTunes or buy songs from the Apple iTunes Music Store. Connect your iPod and click (Restore). This will rebuild all the software on the iPod and restore your songs.

I keep putting songs on my ipod and the computer says that it has been downloaded but when i get on my ipod it dosent show up some people are saying it needs to be synchorized but i dont know how to do...

use itunes to put the songs on your ipod it freely downloadable at the apple website at

www.apple.com/itunes

Once installed it will ask you if you want to put any mp3s on itunes once they are there you can then drag songs onto your ipod once connected by your usb cable. Or use ipod panel to synch songs from there.

Hope this helps

Sir i hav transferred various songs to my i pod 120gb classic ....but i m not able tp play them on i pod as i m not able to found them on any folder whatsoever in ipod,,,,surprisingly i m able to play them...

This is simple.

Do not copy paste songs on ipod.

Just intall iTune software from www.apple.com & Add you songs to media library & sync your i pod with them.

Now you can play your songs on your ipod. This is the process of fill songs on ipod.

Thanks.
If you accepts my solution please vote me.

Dont know how to put songs on my ipod

Apple intended iTunes to be used to sync your ipod. There is a windows version available on www.apple.com/itunes
Also, if you are syncing songs, make sure they are in a compatible format. (ie not .wma files)
