1. check fuel filter in gas tank (for clogged condition).
2. Check carb jet for dirt (squirt carb cleaner in jet and fuel inlet

Summary: your carb is not getting enough fuel to mix properly with constant air flow. Therefore, fuel supply needs to be cleaned... then you will run happy!!

The unit is under warranty. The person you talked to must be new. Find a warranty service center in your area. Take your receipt with you and they should be able to take care of it for you.

I have the MightyLite 26bv....will only run at half choke. When turn knob to run, it dies. Does not reach full power ever.

The parts inside the carburetor need to be replaced (gasket and diaphragm kit) and/or the L and H screws need to be adjusted on the carb. Try grasping and turning the L mixture screw on the carburetor (one closest to engine) about 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn counterclockwise.

Ryobi CS30 Trimmer starts and runs in full choke and half choke but stumbles and stalls on run. Not up to full rpms when in full choke and half choke....

You probably need a slight carburetor adjustment. Try to turn the L mixture screw (the one near the bottom of the carburetor on the air filter side, closest to the engine) 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn counterclockwise. These mixture adjustment screws ( L and H) have odd heads on them and conventional tools won't turn them. I use an automotive type plastic wire connector (around 22 gauge) with a ring terminal end which I can hold. Tap the plastic end of the wire terminal connector onto the head of the screw with a small hammer and this will enable you to adjust the L screw. This adjustment will increase you high speed side and possibly allow it to run off choke in a regular manner.

My homelite string trimmmer will not run when choke is run position. it will run, but not at full throtle, when choke is set between full choke and half-choke.

you've got a fuel system issue , most likely carb problem, if this a newer trimmer it will likely need the carburetor replaced or adjusted, also check for cracking fuel lines or signs of old fuel varnish in the tank

Homelite mighty lite wont stay running

the problem is in the carburetor most likely, it may be cleaned and adjusted, if not it will likely need a new carb

Cranks up runs few seconds ccuts off run half... on choke new gas lines

Make sure the muffler is not plugged. Sounds like the pump section of the carburetor is not working. Remove the carburetor and disassemble it. Keep track of where things go. Re-kit it if the rubber diaphragm is stiff or damaged. Same with the valves and diaphragm in the pumper section. Soak only the metal parts in spray carburetor cleaner, then blow out all passages with compressed air. Reinstall the H and L needles CW to stops (lightly), then turn both CCW 1-1/2 turns. The engine should start and run with these settings. Allow the engine to warm up, then apply full throttle and adjust H needle for fastest speed, but 4-stroking--which smooths out immediately when trying a cut. Next, adjust L needle for smooth idle, bur rich enough to allow the engine to follow the throttle without gasping. Then adjust the idle speed screw to just allow the chain to stop turning. Make sure the air cleaner is in good condition.

Gas leaf blower runs at half speed

First you will have to get a carburetor kit ,it consists of diaprams and inlet needle, you then remove the two srews that hold carburetor on the engine and remove gas lines, also the throttle cable remove screws that hold ends of carburetor on under these you will find the diaphrams and needle remove these be carefull not to loose the little spring under the needle lever.
!get you a can of carburetor cleaner and spray carburetor the blow it out with air you will notice little jets in carburetor that have to be clean use a wire from a bread tie to clean them out install new gaskets and diaprams in same position you took old ones off.you can also look at carburetor to see what kind it is walbor, zama, tilloson? type the name in google search and can get a diagram of carburetor if you loose your place,or just ask me.
