Problem with Rise & Fall: Civilizations At War for Windows 7. how to open ebooklibrary.exe

To install and run "R&F Civilizations at War" in Windows 7:
1) Run the Setup file and install the game
2) Google and download "http://www.ausgamers.com/files/process/24085/rise-and-fall-civilizations-at-war-patch-v115-beta" and "http://www.star-force.com/support/sfdrvup.zip".
3) Install "Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War Patch v1.15 beta".
4) Run the game, let it install required libraries and then reboot.
5)Run sfdrvup.exe and update the protection driver. Reboot.

Now the game should run in Windows 7.

The mouse cursor icon is stuck on the screen and won't move around, but I'm still able to highlight things without knowing where the mouse is going. How do I get the mouse icon to work and start moving...

Right click the Rise of Nations display icon, go to 'Properties' and go to 'open file location'.
Look for a '.ini' file called 'Rise2' - double click it to open it up.
You will see this about mid way through the list that then pops up:
ForceHardwareCursor=0
ForceGDICursor=0
ForceBWCursor=0
ForceStaticCursor=0
change all of the 0's into 1 - then go to file, save. This should fix any issues you have with the mouse not working properly.

Trackball gets stuck on BB 8100 Pearl

You can actually pop the trackball out and clean it and the sensors. remove (gently) the silver ring around the ball. if you break it you can buy new ones cheap.. it just snaps in to place. then the ball will fall out and you can take a q-tip and rubbing alcohol and clean it.
