Can i connect altec lansing expressionist classic speakers to a TV? if so, how? THX!

If you have a mini-plug port on the IPhone which I believe you have; then attach a male to male plug in between the two devices. Take to Radio Shack for correct line plug.

You can use the audio output RCA outputs to connect to the speakers. You need to use a multi- connector to match the input of the Altec. You can get the mating connectors to the headphone to RCA which can be connected to the Audio outputs. Also you can use a network to match the input impedance, use a simple reisitive network.

Click on the Apple icon and look at the sound options in the system preferences. If the Mac does not detect your speakers, you may need to install drivers for them. Try doing that at the Altec Lansing site. Also try the tech support at Altec Lansing and at Apple.

You need an 3.5mm mini headphone jack to composite (RCA) converter and a set of audio patch cords.

You can Google "Altec Lansing Drivers Download" and get a number of resources returned. May have to register to download them but...

It won't work like this due to this being a computer only speaker system. It requires the drivers to work with a computer & a Home theater does not recognize the format. Sorry.
