How can a make an equivalent to a Telex St 200 1/2 wave dipole antenna?

it is either 72MHz or 216MHz. There r a lot of utube videos on DIY Dipoles but u must change the length to match the frequency.
A VHF TV antenna will work for 72. Length = 39" each side-- 216MHz is going to be 13" - total will be about 80" and 28"
The issue is the matching xformer. A dipole presents 300 ohm impedance. The 200 is a 50 ohm Z. a typical TV matching xfmr is 300 to 75 so u will have to build the right one of maybe find one in a HAM store.
Google this - 1/2 wave dipole ham - for lots of ideas

Blinking with no signal video displayed, also blinking picture after started windows

"no signal" means exactly that. You monitor is not receiving signal from your PC. Recheck the video cable on both the monitor and the PC, make sure they plugged in properly.. Also try another monitor if you have it, and if it works with that monitor than more likely you have a frequency sync problem. In this case, using another monitor that works, and try resetting the video to basic 60Hz. In Windows, Start->Control_Panel->Display. Change the display resolution to the lowest, apply the setting, then change the monitor back to the questionable one. If it still doesn't work, then your video processor on your monitor is bad; RMA it if it's still warrantied.

Blinking picture problem, try suggestion above.

The moniter light will blink on and off randomly and the screen also turns on and off with the light. What can I do to fix this?

This is most likely due to power management settings for the monitor.

To address these settings follow the procedure below for your version of Windows.

To establish which version of Windows you have:
Press and hold the Windows Logo Key on your Keyboard + Press Pause Break Key and release.

To adjust power management settings in XP:
Click Start > Control Panel > Power Options > Adjust the drop-down menu for your Monitor.

To adjust power management settings for Vista:
Click Start > Control Panel > Classic View > Power Options > Click "Change Plan Settings under your current plan (the plan with a filled bullet) > Click "Advanced Settings" > Click Display > Click "Turn off display after"
Select 0 for none or choose the duration of inactivity to wait before Windows blanks your screen.

Microphone does not seem to be working

The microphone connector is on the rear of the monitor, and you need to connect it to your computer's microphone input jack. The cable is the same kind you would use to connect the audio output jack to the input on a set of computer speakers. Once the microphone is plugged in it works just like any standard microphone. No special drivers are needed for the monitor, but you do need to be sure that the proper drivers for your computer's sound devices have been installed.

If this solution has been what you needed, please take a moment to rate it. Thanks for asking here!

When i switch the moniter on i see faint lines running up my moniter ( very faint ) as if they are some kind of interference lines, my colleagues are using the same screen on the tables next to me but have...

Hi this shows your monitor has a interference by:
1) by screen refurbish frequency you may try to change this frequency from PC, go to screen setting go high level setting click monitor and change the frequency to 70(or other than 60) ,also you may try from your monitor.
2)stil trouble there, your monitor has a problem with power supply,
the capacity wave filter not very good condition. need to change 5V wave filter capacity (two),should be solved.

Microwave frequency

The frequency has to do directly with the the wave a microwave oven omitts. Frequency is a measure of the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit time. Usually microwaves run at a frequency of 2.54 Ghz, a wave length of 12.34 CM.

Samsung monitor randomly flashes black

> brand-new out-of-the-box

Presumably, it has a "warranty".

So, take it back to where you bought it, and demonstrate the problem to them, and make them repair/replace it, under warranty.
