SOURCE: BLAUPUNKT GMDAT CDP 3 (E) - CAR RADIO CD HOW TO EJECT CD?

Hi graz,

If your unit has a SRC button to the right of the CD clot, try holding this down for a few seconds - works on mine!

Good afternoon Nicole.

You don't have a specific question posted, but from the context, I'll guess that you changed your car battery and now your Blaupunkt stereo won't turn on and needs a code entered. You can look at a forum discussion here (
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110726015503AAw8n1V ) that will step you through how to enter the code. This assumes you have the code card that should have come with the stereo (or the car if it's original to the car). Also note when the instructions talk about pressing the buttons, that it seems like it's pressing the button one more time than the number you want. That's because the first number to come up is Zero, so a 'One' will need two pushes on the button to toggle 'Zero' and then 'One' (I had the same setup in a stereo for my old Saab.)

If you don't have the card, don't just type in numbers at random. These stereos will lock you out after a certain number of failed attempts, and go into really long lockdowns if you wait out the first period. This will mean going to a dealer, where, likely as not, they'll hem and haw about how it's not working for them either, and you'll need to buy a replacement Blaupunkt.

Hope this helps, and good luck. If it does help, tagging the post as helpful would also be appreciated :-)

How do you remove the whole head unit from a VW polo 2000. I doesnt seem to slide out like i thought it would. I'm trying to wire some 6 by 9's

Remove the outer trim ring.

In each side you will see tiny slots. The radio came with keys to insert in these slots to unlock the chassis from the carriage.

Insert the keys, and pull out the chassis.

I need to remove my Pioneer DEH-1100 from my 1996 Honda Civic. All I can figure out is how to remove the front panel, but I need remove the whole thing and put in a new one. Please help. Thank you.

hi afetr you have removed the front panel look on either side of the stereo there will be a slot on either side, you will need to purchase "radio keys" for the type of radio you have from a good auto store you can buy them off the shelf, you insert either key into the slots on the sides and then pulling them in slightly pull the radio at the same time ( if you just pull straight you will only pull the key's out so bend them in slightly as you pull ) it should come straight out of the security cage....hope this helped

How do I remove the radio from my 2002 VW passat?

1.- Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. But make sure you have the antitheft code in case you need it.
2 Insert the long ends of the 86-9001(especial Key)into the slots on the factory radio and pull out to remove. Note: Flat edge of key should point outward. one slot is located on each side you need 2 keys.
3 For single DIN radios with the pocket, remove the radio and pocket, then pull out on the plastic tray separating the dash cavity.

I need a radio/cd, that would work with my steering wheel control

im sorry but i must be blunt the people who installed your deck were lazy instead look up factory wheel control module on google there is a system that (as long as the deck has any type of remote) allows you to hook this up run a small wire with a out put laser to the front of your deck acting as a remote control if this infact is not the case use crutchfield.com enter in your car information look threw the decks when you find one you like look in eccesorys if its not an option it wont be there :) honestly the jvd avx 820 is amazing for the price check it out it will work with your controls

Chevrolet kalos blaupunkt radio removal problem

Remove the secuirty panel from the front o f the unit.
with a small fine flat bladed screwdriver remove the two facia strips - one either side, CAREFULLY! they are on clips.
You should find four 10mm bolts holding the whole frame in, remove these and you may need to fit a subframe to re-fit your new unit.
Fit your new unit or frame into place, replace the bolts - don't over tightem them - and the trim.
Fit your new unit - Happy motoring!

How to remove a blaupunkt santa cruz mp36

I'm afraid its a little bit late for corsamad11 but I've just spent hours finding that too much messing about taking a Blaupunkt Santa Crux MP36 in and out of your dashboard will almost render this great quality radio almost useless. Not being securely fixed in the dasboard.
The radio is held inside the mounting bracket by a metal strip each side which are supposed to spring closed to secure the unit. When the two keys are inserted each side of the radio they are supposed to push out these metal strips and at the same time hook onto each side of the radio behind two little lugs. This may work a few times but thats about all. The metal strips don't spring closed and the removing keys don't hook on the unit to pull it out.
Fiddle about with the keys inserted in each slot and at the same time try to push the unit further inside the dash. When this is achieved the mounting bracket lugs can be straightened out and the bracket can be removed with a narrow screwdriver as installed.
Just a very poor and flimsy design on a much loved radio.
