Question about Stanley Bostitch Nail Gun
Rather than try to repair it or look into it, call the dealer or take it back to him as you will invalidate your warranty if you do anything to the unit, and that is not worth it. Let the dealer worry about it.

Returning it would be best IF there is something wrong with it but how likely is that, , might be an oversight especially if your unfamiliar to start with, 1. make sure you have it loaded and with the correct brad 2. make sure you have released the mechanism that holds tension on the brads ,( the thing you pulled back to load it with nails,it locks in open position to load, then you have to release it to push the nails and hold tension on nails 3. if all of this is good then you might think it is not firing a nail because all you see is a hole in the wood, there could be a nail down in that hole because it is supposed to countersink the nail too so you cant see it and for filling in with spackling.
