Question about Onkyo TX-SR502 Receiver
I'm assuming that you have checked the settings and the speakers are selected as outputs (not the headphones) and they are properly configured- someone might have pushed the wrong button on the remote and change the previous settings.
Most likely it's a bad contact in the power relays . To certify that you will have to open the unit and measure the voltages on them - in and out. If the relays are indeed at fault they will have to be replaced - this is a relatively complicated job that should be left to someone who has at least a basic experience in repairing electronics.
