Open Question

I have new Blanko Silgranit kitchen sink, model vision 210. This sink is similar to the 440220 model. I can't find it in the listing. Therte were njho instructions on how to assemble the sink drains. The sink has a 40degree tapper to the top side of the opening, and a flat surface on the underside. The drain assembly came with a plastic outer cup, and a chrome inner cup. Both have flat seal surface. The outer cup (underside of sink) has three grooves in the seal surface, the same as the supplied rubber seal. The ribs on the seal line up with and fitt into the grooves in the outer cup. However, they do not prperly go into these grooves, because there are a series of round, post-like "nubs" cast into the inner most grooves, and at one location in the middle location. My question is this. How is this seal installed into the outer cup, grooves up or down? There is also a thin flat gasket; where does it go? Itis useless under the inner(upper) cup because of the 45 degree chamfer of the hole.

SOURCE: Rival Rice cooker steamer model 4356

Lydia, there are notches on the side of the metal liner. Line 1 is for one scoop of rice filled with water to the line marked 1. The scooper that comes with it holds 2/3 cup of rice. There are smaller notches above and below each numbered notch. That's to make rice looser or stickier, depending on your preference.
Hope that helps.

SOURCE: How to repair porcelain/cast iron sink scratches

You can repair the sink with an epoxy based porcelin kit

Epoxy will not show brush streaks it will levelitself out do not get any kits from HD or Lowes they do not harden

Go to Sherwin Williams and ask for an epoxy paint for porcelin

As for removing the under counter sink
I would try cutting through the caulk adhesive
between the bottom of the granite and cast iron
sink with a hack saw blade
I have used a diamond blade on a grinder and
cut through but it was not a granite counter top
Be extremely areful to suport the underside of the sink with 2x4 blocks to prevent stressing the granite as you cut through
Good luck

SOURCE: Pegasus Push Button Vessel Sink Drain with overflow

Put plumbers putty around the flange that will be in contact with the sink. When you put it into the hole, try to line up the overflow as good as possible. The nut that goes onto the bottom (tailpiece) has a rubber gasket that will go between the nut & the sink. Adding some plumbers putty here won't hurt. After all is secure, just remove the putty that squeezed out from tightening.

How do you remove uncured silicone fron the silgranit sink?

Well this must be coming in late. I'm sure the stuff has cured by now. I tell everybody, silicone is for one thing, FISH TANKS!!! Do not use it for anything else. You will have to razor the excess off now, it will still leave a film on the surface. The proper stuff for your sink would have been siliconized acrylic latex caulk, It is cleanable with water, molds right in nice, seals, super strong, waterproof. That is what we use. We have stuck houses together with the stuff. Don't know if they are still standing.
Granite guys use silicone to stick their tops on and caulk up under the counter, but you don't see their joints. That is OK, They could use any caulk but they like the adhesive bond of the silicone. Hope this helps.

I need a repair kit for a cracked silgranit sink

Hello., Yes definitely. Go to any home depot or hardware store and have one of the clerks show you the assortment of adhesives that will work on your problem. The fast drying clear resins and the one minute clear epoxy both work great.
