Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
Laptop is lock from where? In posting or booting?
When posting right after the Dell screen?
Booting, after windows loaded where it ask you to enter your username and password.
If from BIOS reset the CMOS batt.
From booting, try a different user account if fails, try in safe mode then login as an administrator then re-create a new account. If all fails re-install windows or restore to factory settings.

You can use the accessibility features of Windows to audibly notify you when you've pressed the Caps Lock key. Follow these steps:
Click on Start >> Click Control Panel.
Click Ease Of Access >> Select "Change how your keyboard works" from Ease of Access Center.
Check the Box for Turn on Toggle Keys.
Click Apply. Click OK.
