try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no?MOISTURE in the air line dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error if this fails to fix the shutting down
another possible reason could be a memory dump you might be running to many programs at the one time placing to much strain on the CPU also you might not have enough RAM random access memory to check what is running when your computer is running scroll to the bottom toolbar right click select task manager applications and processes if you see something you dont need running select end now to check how much ram you have click start right click on my computer select properties you will see all of your computers details another way to check how much RAM you have click start all programs accessories system tools system imformation all of your computers imformation will be there try uninstalling a few unnecessary programs then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to fix any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive this will schedule on a restart don

Computer idles high then shuts down

When you say "idles high" do you mean you hear fans spinning faster or louder? If so, a fan spinning at higher than normal speeds is indicative of components/chips being run aggressively causing them to run at much higher temperatures. You may want to look into getting temperature monitoring software like CPU-Z to monitor the temperatures of your CPU and GPU. These components are the most common ones to be running at high temperatures. If any fan has failed on them the secondary fans (if there is one) will run at much higher speeds to compensate. Your PC may have a safety precaution to automatically shut down if certain temperatures are reached to prevent permanent damage to the components. Are you getting any blue screens before it shuts down?

You also should change the thermal paste. If you want to play games, please choose normal PC. I think you are asking too much from your laptop.

TOO HIGH TEMPERATURES AT MY LAPTOP ACER ASPIRE 5735Z

When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed airto do this.

My Laptop is Acer Aspire 3050- PC Notebook when i play games laptop ,it became too heat and suddenly shutdown.(between 15 -20). it will happen only when play games, For other purpose it will work...

The laptop was not designed to gaming ..and when you use it for gaming the video card and the cpu are forced too much for it ..The system is shutting down cause it gets to the top heat point ..
The cpu has a top heating point set in BIOS ..and when it gets to it ..the system is shutting down automatically as a protection ..i suggest to avoid forcing it and if you still want to run large games on it ..you need to upgrade the heat dispenser and also get an external cooler for it ..
here are some ex..
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/laptop-cooling/737_7124_70133_xx_xx/xx-criteria.html
Also check in bios settings if the cpu is set for the max temperature allowed..to be sure it has the correct settings ..just enable the optimal factory settings ..or ..if you have it from teh start and you know you never messed with the bios settings ..just let it be ..cause you can do something wrong ..(specially on the hdd bus and will not see your system after )
Another thing that may be wrong is a heat dispenser that does not doing its job ..either dirty or something like that //If you want you can open it up and check ..but the best idea is still to get an external cooling device and improve the temperature control ..

My comuter won't start up properly. It stays blank right before the log in screen at start up. It shuts down automatically when I play certain video games.

Ok this could be a CPU Issue, after a while the thermo paste on the heatsink which is on the CPU under the fan the paste will dry out and when it does the cpu once starts working under load due to the games being played will shut down to protect itself and the board.

What you need to do or get someone to do it for you take out the Heatsink reapply thermo paste on top of the CPU (by the way thats what I call it) may be known in your region as Thermal grease (also called thermal compound, heat paste, heat transfer compound, thermal paste, or heat sink compound. If you need more help let me know
