I turn the power on to my RX-318 and a few seconds later it sounds like something else is kicking on....then I dont hear any sound from my speakers. I dont know if theres a fuse blown, the amp is going out...

Sounds like the automatic circuit protection. Check to make sure you have good speakers and NO shorted wires to them. Too many spearkers conected to the outputs will cause the same problem.

Hello, i had my mcb-40 mounted in my jeep and it worked well. i switched it over to my new truck and now it will not turn on. no channel displayed, no sound. i have the power and ground both conected...

First make sure you are grounded well. Second do you have an inline fuse on your power wire? If so check that it did not blow. Even if it looks good throw another 3 amp fuse in to make sure. Also make sure your power source is actually hot and make sure the fuse in the panel fuse box for your power source has not blown. Also are you using the cigarette lighter? If so make sure the fuse to the cigarette lighter has not blown. Last you can try a new power wire. If you try all of these to no avail you more than likely have a radio issue. Good luck.

The stereo, some times is turn off, and some times work perfectly. I guess than problem is conected a wire with 10 amps. The stereo have a fuse 15 amps. Could you help me. please. sorry my english nots...

No, its ok. Try to check the wire connection in the power supply. Check the fuse if the spring that pushes to contact is still working. The problem is on that area.

I got a 4 gauge power wire w a 20 amp fuse hooked up to a kenwood stereo/bridgeable amp 350 watts max power model #kac~6295 it just dnt sound rite any sugestions?

make sure you run your power and ground wires opposite of the rca/speaker wires. you tend to pick up alternator noise when all wires are bunched up together. Also, make sure you have a good chasis ground to the amp, and the stereo has also a good ground. good luck

Hello bulldogwjm,

You can download the Kenwood manual here:

http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Support/Car_Entertainment_Owners_Manuals/#_

Just select the model number from the dropdown and download it.

Hope this helps.

My amp is not working

For the visonik, you should check your speakers. You can use a D-cell battery. Remove the speaker wires from the amp and connect each speaker across the battery (for no longer than a few seconds). The speaker should pop each time the wires are touched to the battery. If they don't, the speaker is defective (assuming the battery isn't dead).

If the speakers are OK, you need to confirm that you have a good signal feeding the amp. You can use the RCA cables from another working amp in the vehicle. Do this with the amp that had the power light lit.

If you have signal going to the amp and the speakers are OK, the only two things left are the power supply feeding the amp (from the battery) and the amp. If you have B+ and remote voltage AND a good ground, the amp is defective.

For the pyramid, the amplifier probably has shorted output transistors. The amplifier will have to be repaired.
