You need to unscrew the 6 screws on the back panel of the car seat and then pull it off. then their is two little white clips over the metal brackets that hold the straps on! just lift one end of the white clip and lift off. then take the metal bracket and pull a little toward the back of the seat and turn sideways, push through the hole! its easy once you get the back panel off! the same way if you were changing the height adjustment....

Hi i have got a maxi cosi cabriofix car baby car seat and cannot seem to remove the cover at the bottom where the grey circle is how do i do this and can i was the cover in the washing machine once...

Good Morning

The grey tensioner strap appears to be stitched in place but it isn't. Follow it around under the bottom of the carseat and the strap is in a piece of plastic catch shaped like an H on it's side. Wiggle one way then the other to unhook from this catch, and the carseat fabric can be removed (where the grey circle part is the fabric is tucked underneath slightly, once you've unhooked the tensioner strap you'll be able to get the fabric off easily).

Hand washing is recommended, but if you have delicate or handwash cycle on machine this is also suitable. Use a mild detergent and maximum temp 30 degrees for washing. Do not tumble dry: Do not leave in direct sunlight to dry. Ensure fabric is completely dry before putting it back on for use as damp fabrics may result in mould or mildew growth.

Remember never remove the harness straps from the carseat, the fabrics can be completely removed while the harness remains in place!

Detach the door wiring from the connector

This is a two person operation.

  1. Remove the two door check-to-body retaining screws.

WARNING

Cover the end of the check strap to prevent possible paint damage.

  1. On the rear doors, remove the rear door trim panel, detach the electrical connectors from the components (if equipped) and remove the wiring harness from rear door.
  2. On the driver's side front door, disconnect the window regulator wiring, if so equipped, by removing the wire connector cover, loosening the screw and separating the connector halves.
  3. On the passenger side front door, remove the rubber harness protector from the body to reveal the electrical connectors. Detach the two electrical connectors.
  4. If the door is to be replaced, transfer the following components to the new door if in usable condition:
    • Door trim panel
    • Watershield
    • Outside mouldings
    • Trim clips
    • Window regulator
    • Door latch components.
  5. Remove the hinge retaining screws and nuts from the door and remove the door.

To install:

  1. Position the door onto the hinges and hand tighten the screws.
  2. Align the door and tighten the screws to 19-25 ft. lbs. (25-35 Nm).
  3. If removed, install the wiring harness to the rear doors.
  4. Attach the electrical connectors to the door panel.
  5. Install the door panel(s).

Cant remove the cover off the straps at the bottom of the cabrio fix car seat i have removed it off the seat but can not remove the straps at the bottom to remove the cover

Had the same problem where you are left with the cover trapped by the quick adjust part for the shoulder straps located near the foot of the seat. The solution, the strap does detach at the front of the seat. The loop that is stiched round what feels like a solid plastic part of the base, turns out that there is a gap in the plastic so push the strap to either side and pull it out through the gap. With this removed you should now be able to remove the cover completly and bung it in the washing machine on a hand wash.

How to replace a heater core

Removal & Installation
CAUTION When draining the coolant, keep in mind that cats and dogs are attracted by ethylene glycol antifreeze, and are quite likely to drink any that is left in an uncovered container or in puddles on the ground. This will prove fatal in sufficient quantity. Always drain the coolant into a sealable container. Coolant should be reused unless it is contaminated or several years old.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and drain the cooling system.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle safely.
  3. If equipped, remove the rear lateral transaxle strut mount.
  4. Disconnect the drain tube from the heater case.
  5. Detach the heater hoses from the heater core.
  6. Carefully lower the vehicle.
  7. Remove the right and left sound insulators.
  8. Unfasten the steering column opening filler. Disconnect the heater outlet deflector (floor air outlet duct).

  6. Connect the heater hoses (use new heater hose clamps if necessary) to the heater core.
  7. Connect the drain tube to heater case.
  8. Connect the rear lateral transaxle strut mount, if equipped.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Fill the cooling system and check for leaks. Check heater system for proper operation.

Can I take off the cover and straps of to wash?

Hi,

Yes you can remove the cover, but I would suggest that you leave the harness on. This can be a little tricky to remove, but can be done.

I hope this helps.
