Hi,
Unfortunately there is no provision made to tighten the hinge...as the hinge wears it will become more loose, but there is no way to actually re-tighten the hinge as it is preset in the factory with no means to readjust.

HINGES PRBLM

Yes. Strip down the laptop and screen. The hinges will be exposed and they can be tightened up. Use care because if too tight, they will break the plastic case.

How to Reverse Your Refrigerator Door (Most units)

1. Remove the toe grille.
2. Remove top hinge cover if available. Trace around the hinge with a soft lead pencil. This makes the re-installation easier. Remove top hinge and lift door off the center hinge pin, and set the door aside.
3. Unscrew the center hinge pin using an adjustable wrench and save for reassembly. Ensure that the plastic washer stays on hinge pin.
4. Lift the refrigerator door off of the bottom hinge and set aside.
5. Remove center hinge and shim by removing inside screw and loosening two outside screws enough to allow hinge and shim to slide out. Tighten screws.
6. Loosen two outside screws on opposite side of refrigerator, remove inside screw and install center hinge.
7. Remove two screws on bottom hinge with 3/8" socket wrench.
8. Install bottom hinge on opposite side with the two screws removed from Step 7.
9. Unscrew the bottom hinge pin using adjustable wrench. Move hinge pin to other hold in hinge and tighten with adjustable wrench.
10. Reverse door handles.
11. Move freezer and refrigerator door stops to opposite side. Before starting screws, use an awl to puncture the foam.
12. Position refrigerator door onto bottom hinge pin and screw center hinge pin through center hinge into the top of the door. Close refrigerator door to help align hinge hole.
13. Tighten center hinge pin with adjustable wrench.
14. Remove cabinet and hinge hold plugs and move to opposite side.
15. Lower freezer door onto center hinge pin (if you have a separate freezer door).
16. Close freezer door. Have an assistant lift up on opposite side of the door while tightening screws to install top hinge.
17. Flip top grille and reinstall.
18. Plug in electrical power cord and turn refrigerator temperature control to center position. Adjust setting as needed.

How do you fix a soft closing toilet seat where one hinge has become loose, one side has become detatched

Sorry there is no fixing one. the reason the hinge probably came loose is the wood has cracked and/or the wood got wet and rotted and the screws won't stay tightened. Go to Walmart and get you a new seat.

Laptop hinges are loose

The hinges can be loose in two different areas, but the most popular is the hinge attachment point behind the screen bezel. Remove the rubber screw covers from the bezel, remove the screws, take your finger nailas and from the inside of the bezel pull gently to the outside to release the catches on the screen lid. Start on one side and work your way around the screen until the bezel pops loose. Look at the bottom of the screen and you will see the hinge attachment points. Tighten them up. If you have some locktite this would be a good time to apply it, remove the screws one at a time and replace. To replace the bezel, always start at the bottom and work your way up.

Screen loose

Do you mean the screen hinges have become loose? If so they cannot easily be tightened as they need very high torque.

Washing machine will not start or fill with water power is good to machine

Check the contact switches first. I have a Roper and the hood hinges had become loose. My machine would not respond until the hinge was repaired by tightening the screws. It was that simple.

Loose screen hinges

You can't. They're worn out and the way they're manufactured doesn't allow for a easy tightening unfortunately. I would pick up a new / used pair from ebay and then just swap them out.

Loose Hinge

Well, if you really want to know where the screws are, they are under the "Hewlett Packard" and "720" labels on hinge of the display. However, there seems to be some "screws and glue" fix available from HP to solve loose hinge issues. I'm not very sure abt this (could be for the 728)
