You do not to to remove anything on the pump end to rotate it. Loosen the 4 motor thru-bolts at the end opposite the pump; they pass all the way thru the motor into the pump bracket. Once those are backed out you can spin the pump discharge into the position you need and reinstall the thru-bolts...done!

How do you know if the enpeller is on the wrong way, ya I know no water coming through, but there is air and the motor is in the water.

I presume you're referring to a submersible pump. the impellers are either centrifugal or screw type. Check the direction of rotation by turning the pump on without the impeller installed. Then install the impeller so that the blades can draw water into the pump body and expel it at the discharge discharge outlet.

Where is the button to turn the discharge from vertical to horizontal? The manual states to "simply push the positioning button and rotate" - can't seem to locate the button!

Press the positioning button located on pump housing and rotate discharge port to desired position.

Note: the Discharge port will only rotate 1/4 turn.

Rattles when drying

I need more details but typically a dryer will make a rhythmic rattling noise when loose change and other small metallic objects as well as buttons become trapped in the tumbler impellers (those wing shaped things in dryers).
Loosen and remove the top of your dryer.
Rotate your drum, taking care not to rotate it the wrong way. The right direction of rotation will produce friction to the belt, the wrong direction will cause slack on the belt on one side or the other of the drum.
Rotate the drum until the back side of the impeller is directly on top with the outer screws facing you at the top of the dryer. Remove the screws and pull out the impeller and you will find your noise makers. Do this with the remaining impellers and reinstall.

Wash impeller wont rotate on fisher paykel model 603

I suppose you have a double drawer dishwasher and this problem is with one of the drawers.

One cause of the impeller not rotating would be that there is some loose cutlerry lodged between the impeller arm and the base rack. This is easy just remove it.

HOwever, the other option is that the impeller itself is stuck. Try opening the filter base plate and removing the impeller rotor to check if no debris is lying around (usually food scraps).

The instructions to open the filter plate and exposing the impeller is in the user guide. If cleaning does not help then check nothing is stuck in the filter sump and the narrow passage connecting filter sump and the rotor cavity which is preventing the rotor from rotating.

The worst case scenario is the impeller rotor is faulty. You can buy this and replace yourself , ie, if you worked out how to remove it.
Good luck

How do i remove impellor

The impeller in my 4 HP, 2-speed Waterway Executive High Performance 56 pool & spa pump has a brass coupling embedded in the back side. This coupling can be unscrewed from the motor shaft by keeping the shaft from rotating while turning the impeller in the reverse direction. Then the seal can be tapped out.

Wont drain have cleaned out pump for coins anything else it could be

You cleaned out the pump, but did you check it out? Take a flashlight and look into the suction port on the pump. Check the impeller for broken or missing blades and see that the impeller rotates freely. If there are broken/missing blades or if the impeller will not rotate freely the pump is defective.

Bosch dishwasher wont drain. At end of cycle is full of cloudy water.

It is possible if you have broken a glass recently that the piece of glass has made its way to the drain pump impeller. You need to remove bottom basket. Remove the filter strainer clamp by rotating CCW. There may be another round filter under the strainer (depending on model). Then with a torque screwdriver remove one screw which holds the plastic pump cover on. Remove the pump cover and pay close attention to the pump impeller. Does it rotate by finger movement? If not it could be jamed with a piece of broken glass. You must remove any obstruction to allow the impeller to turn. I usually force a paper towel piece (half piece while rotating the impeller by finger to allow the paper towel to bring up any obstruction below the impeller) Reassemble the cover and filters carefully and make sure the final strainer clamp aligns correctly with its marks. This insures nothing will make its way to the impeller in future.
