33 Records are playing a bit too fast on my Wockoder Record Player... Is there any way to fix this?

Lots of quality turntables have a speed checker and a limited amount of speed adjustment.

Many ordinary record decks use a synchronous motor, the speed of which is regulated by the Hz of the mains supply and with mostly fixed gear ratios it is impossible for them to run faster - slower is the usual problem.

I expect there will be types driven by a dc motor and regulated by a switch mode power supply but I know nothing about them.

I suggest you begin by learning something about your turntable.

My Optimus LAB 1100 is playing 45s ok but the 33s sound like the chipmunks

the turntable speed is incorrect
adjust with the speed control setting
many quality turn tables have bar codes around the outside edge and when viewed under a light those bars appear to be stationary when the correct table speed is set
It is a strobe affect in time with the frequency of the light

Why is my brand new crosley turntable keepsake hunter skipping tracks?

The turntable may not be level. Also, the stylus could be damaged or defective. The stylus pressure may not have been set correctly in production or may have been affected by shipping.

JVC turntable AL-E300 turntable slowing down when tone arm moves iacross

Even if the belt looks fine it's almost certainly the problem. You mentioned "cleaning" - if you got any kind of fluid on the belt it might act as a lubricant and reduce the friction between the belt and the drive wheel, causing the turntable to slow when the tone arm puts a drag on it. The problem may go away when the belt dries out.

I just recently bought a new turntable, and when it plays my LPs, the LPs sound somewhat slower than the original. Does the slowness have to do with the belt of the turntable? Is there anyway I can fi

If the 45's play OK then your belt might not be fitted in the right place. If they are both slow, then either the belt is slack or the drive is faulty.

My audio technica turntable is playing records too fast. how do i fix this?

there are two small holes under the unit labeled 33 and 45 that control speed. im guessing youre mainly playing lps so use a flathead jewlers screw to adjust the 33 setting until you get the right speed

My audio-technica PL50 plays 45s at the wrong speed.

believe it or not not it probably doesn`t even play your lp`s at the right speed? Its probably because your drive belt has actually stretched? rubber belts do wear and maybe seek out a replacement drive belt?

try this company?

How do I set up a record for 45 speed?

You place it over the turntable spindle if you need to use it. Many 45s have a standard 6mm spindle hole so you do not need to.
