I have a similar problem.  The washer is not spinning well.  My thought is that it is sensing that the load is out of balance so it stops and spins slowly to try and even out the load then tries a faster spin (not THAT fast) then repeats the cycle.  After about 15 mins, turns off and the items are still wet; regardless of the size of the load.  The fix describes sounds intriguing but please explain what we are doing by pulling out this component and why the towel; parts?  water?  Thanks!

Yes, I have the same problem! A little upset and its fairly new, thought I was buying on of the best.... same problem; it doesn't happen all the time but I do have to put the wash on spin again to get the clothes dry enought to put into the dryer. Sometimes the second time

not sure what to do - very random...
i am going to open the panel noted and see what i can see... also not sure of where the "filter" is that was noted in a related issue.
I will go back and let others know if i fix it.

I have a different problem, but the REAL problem is the GE phone service "technician." As she is trying to describe how to open the panel, she is trying to tell me just to insert a coin at the top "slot" and pop it open. Doesn't understand when I tell her there are three screws on the bottom holding the panel to the washer body. Finally, both of us in frustration, she gives up and tells me the only other option is to send a service tech in ONE WEEK to fix it.

Now that I know you actually have to take the screws out, I'll do it my own damn self.

Remove the front lower panel (3 screws on lower lip - lay on floor to see). Panel come right off. there is a round "dial" to the front housing. Put down a bath towel on the floor and unscrew dial - then pull it out.

LG front load washer/ clothes still wet after final spin

The heavy jacket prevented the washer from spinning at a rapid pace, so I added a heavy bathrobe to absorb some of the water and to balance the load. The washer then spun very quickly and drained out all the water.

GE Front Loading Washing Machine seems to be holding water....

The high speed spin of a front load washer should normally do a good job of getting squeezing out the water but if there is an oversudsing condition that makes it hard for the drain pump to operate then the suds and water will just stay there. First make sure there is no actual clog in the drain line then run a load with no soap or detergent and see what happens. It's always better to use a low suds detergent with this type of machine
