HP tech has replaced the assembly, the cartridges and the fuser. We still have a very loud grinding noise on the HP CP3525...

I have the same probem on several custoers devices. Not maiking noise all the time. I beleive by the sound its the ITB virbraiting as it seems to be a tight plastic rubbing kind of noise. And when running componet test never makes noise only when all motors and drives are moving.

I have that noise when it starts to print a job. Taking out the magenta toner makes it go away. It doesn't matter what toner I put in the magenta it still makes that noise.

Fuser drive assembly would be my educated guess based on problem description. Good Luck~

Sounds like you have a stripped gear somewhere. Probably somewhere in the paper drive assembly. Take it to your nearest printer repair shop, because tech support may not be much help with that.

HP CP3525 loud grinding noise when it starts a print job. I removed each toner,1 at a time. When the magenta toner is out the noise goes away. I replaced it and still same noise. Any ideas?

Possible that the drum drive for the magenta is not engaging properly. On the control panel go to troubleshooting and then diagnostic test and then component test and test all the cartridge/drum drives.

Hp 1018 printer making really load grinding noise and not printing

ok first try restarting your printer, then try uninstalling the driver for your printer off your computer, restart your computer and printer and then reinstall your drive for the printer, see if you get a replacement for your printer or a refund

HP2420N printer makes a loud grinding sound when printing

This printer had change made to some drive gears. They wear down and cause this noise. If you can find a technician to replace the 3 gears it can be inexpensive. We do it for under $150 with labor and parts.

Loud grinding noice before starting to print

Mine makes a grinding noise when scanning or making copies. As long as everything is working, I just tolerate the noise in which the rest of the staff find amusing at first and then ignore it as I do.

Loud noise

If your also encounter prints that have a roller/crease at the right and slight crinkling at the left then your fuser should be replaced.
