okay you need to type the last four digits of you phone number which was the original code upon purchasing the phone, then press the pound button right after. type the four dgits and then immediently the pound sign. you might have to try it a couple of times before you get it. this is how many people are able to use locked phones that are stolen. my friend who works at a verizon fios taught me this when i locked and forgot my passcode.

Holy **** this helped! It might be kind of late but i found out how to restore your code. you call *22899 on your locked phone. Then you just wait for about a minute. Then your phone will restart and your code will be restored to the last four digits of you cell number.
