Question about Lenovo 3000 N100 0768 - Pentium Dual Core T2060 1.6 GHz - 15.4in. TFT PC Desktop
I was unable to open my any one of the hard disk drive by clicking on them, then I formatted my C drive and now my C drive gets open while clicking on it but my D drive & E drive is not getting opened.
Please advise how can I open them by clicking on them without formatting them.
First search for autorun.inf file in all drive. make sure u have enable the check hidden files option also then only u will get this file.
& later delete all autorun.inf files.
then go to gpedit (run--gpedit.msc)in this go for user configuration
then go in to administrative templates click on system
here right side u find "Turn off Auto play" enable it for all drives
that's it now restart ur pc

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
You have to be the computers administrator to change any values on any hard drive on your computer
click start control panel user accounts on the users tab click the name of the computer administrator you must have full control
click start click to open on my computer you should see your usb drive could be E: or something right click select properties there will be an array of options
select the sharing tab option then advanced sharing make sure you have a tick in the share this folder box
then click permissions make sure you have all 3 boxes ticked full control changes and read in windows 7
click start control panel user accounts click on the administrators account if you have made one or you will have to create one in windows XP
click start right click on my computer select open
Right click the icon of your usb drive (It should be E:/ or something)
Click Properties in the menu that comes up
Click the Sharing tab
And finally, click Allow next to Full Control.
click start click on my computer you should see your usb drive
right click then select format
another way is to control panel administrative tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select format
hope this helps
