I think I have the solution, it happened to me.

The instructions for bobbin winding tell you to click the start button for the bobbin to wind. When you do that you get that E1 with a beeping. What they don't explain is that in order to press that "UP" arrow button to get the bobbin to wind..........you need to UNPLUG the foot control. So, in other words it to be used for sewing w/o a foot pedal. Now instead of doing as per instructions, assuming you've plugged everything in (foot pedal), after winding is finished just press the foot pedal and your off and running or sewing as the case may be. BTW, look it up in the TROUBLESHOOTING SECTION OF YOUR MANUAL. Hope this helps.

Make sure you lower the presser foot before continuing the operation.

The foot controller was pressed (or the start/stop button

was pressed if the foot controller is not connected)

and the reverse/reinforcement stitch button
was pressed while the presser foot was raised.

When I push the pressor foot down my machine flashes E1

Is the presser foot lever up or down? It should be down before you step on the foot controller or use the start/stop button.

E1 error keeps coming up everytime I press the foot controller or start/stop button. Before this happened, the bobbin thread wasn't working. Only bunching lots of threads from top underneath cloth.

E1 means that the main motor is working to hard so the machine is keeping you from burning it up, make sure the handwheel feels smooth when turning if it doesnt clean your hook area and take the side cover off and make sure no thread is caught in the take-up lever

Bobbin case is moving out of place

I was having the same problem with my machine and finally the spring broke. I couldn't find any parts for this so my husband made me a new spring out of a coke can! LOL!! Anyway, he messed with it for a while and it kept doing it. He figured out that it was not the spring but the other piece under the spring was not pushed up far enough to keep the bobbin case in place so he took a screw driver and pushed it forward toward the bobbin case and now my bobbin case does not move!! And the machine is sewing perfect! At least for now. Anyway, it's not the spring or the thread adjusting screw!

E1 Error

If your sewing machine show's the E1 Error, then you have to open your sewing machine and replace the fuse.(you have to open the right Cover on Front where the Display is placed, because there is the circuit board placed!) There are 3 Fuses in the Sewing machine and they are placed at the printed circuit board. It should be the Fuse in the middle. (not those with the wire in it!) It's not easy at all to open the machine, the best thing you can do (if you have a Digicam) take some Pictures of the wiring so it will be much easier to put it back together. I'm NOT an Expert; but a passionate hobbyist. ;) If you are too; just save yourself further trouble with the helpdesk, and fix it yourself. I hope this post could help you!
