Try to use a bootable disc (usually OS discs or recovery discs). Boot to disc by changing the boot device priority into CD/DVD drive. If your unit will boot to disc, the problem is the operating system. However, if it will not boot to the bootable disc, surely, the optical drive of your unit is defective. In this case, either u need to reinsert it, or replace it with new one.
