Question about Bosch Dishwasher Timer Control Unit 092190
Easy to replace - IF you can find spares !
Most manufacturers declare their products obsolete after 10 years (some even earlier).
However, you may be able to fit a standard chassis mount ON/OFF toggle switch and solve the problem (assuming that only the ON/OFF switch is faulty).
Use a switch that has a plastic body and mounting shaft, to avoid safety problems.
Select a switch with a current rating equal to the stated rating on the machine's spec label (usually at the rear of the machine). If the rating is only stated in Watts, then simply divide Watts by the rated mains voltage to get the current.
If no lable can be found, then select a switch that can handle at least 10 amps if the rated mains voltage is 110 - 120Vac, or 5 amps if the rated mains voltage is 220 - 240 Vac.
