(assuming you have windows)
it sounds like you need to get a driver for your video card. right click on my computer and select manage. then go to device manager. the model number will either be under display adapters or under unknown devices. if you can't find it go and download siw. under that program go to devices and look for your video card info in the two aforementioned places.

the next step is to go and download drivers for your video card. go to the cards manufactures web site or just put the info into Google. they will be located under drivers or support. download. scan with an anti-virus and install.

When i play my game i cant see the whole screen how do i fix it?

If you are playing pogo games ?

Pogo.com is an online gaming website where you can play well-known games such as Monopoly, Battleship and Scrabble -- along with scores of other board, word, puzzle and arcade games -- in a Web browser window. The games on Pogo are programmed using Adobe Flash, and are viewed in a small box inside the browser. If your computer has a large display, you may find the games difficult to see because of the of the game box. Although you cannot independently adjust the of the Pogo game box, there are several tricks that you can use to make games appear larger on your screen. Magnify the browser window. In Internet Explorer 9, click the gear-shaped button in the upper-right corner of the screen, and click "Zoom" and "Zoom In." Browse in full screen mode. In Internet Explorer 9, press the "F11" key to enter this mode, and press "F11" again to leave it. Lower the screen resolution. In Windows 7, minimize the browser, right-click the desktop and select "Screen Resolution." Click the drop-down menu next to "Resolution," and select a lower resolution than the one currently displayed. Because a lower resolution uses less pixels to display the information on the screen, this has the effect of making the Pogo game box larger. Remember to change the resolution back when you are done playing. Disable the address and status bars in Internet Explorer 9 if a portion of the game window is cut off. Click the gear-shaped button, and then click "Internet Options." Click the "Security" tab, then click the "Custom Level" button. Click the "Enable" radio button next to "Allow websites to open windows without address or status bars," then click "OK" twice. Close and re-open your Pogo game window. Press the "F4" key. Some Pogo games enter full-screen mode when this key is pressed, but many do not. Hope this helps.

When a monitor displays "Input not supported", the display resolution is set too high. To resolve this, change the resolution to a supported resolution of the monitor.
In Windows XP
  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.
  2. On the Settings tab, under Screen resolution, drag the slider to the desired resolution and click Apply.
  3. When prompted to apply the settings, click OK. The screen will turn black for a moment.
  4. Once the screen resolution changes, confirm the change by selecting Yes. A timer will count down for 15 seconds to ensure the change is desired.
Click Yes to confirm the change; click No or do nothing to revert to the previous setting.
In Windows Vista
  1. Press the Start button , select Control Panel, select Appearance and Personalization, select Personalization, and then Display Settings.
  2. Under Resolution, move the slider to the desired resolution and click Apply.

The writing is too small for me to resd

Hold your Ctrl button down, then use your mouse scroll button to enlarge or make smaller the print on your Internet Explorer and Email pages.

You can also change the resolution on your desktop to make everything larger :
First right-click on the desktop and then left click on Properties from the menu that appears.

The display properties dialogue box will appear as shown in fig 1.1 below, click on the settings tab at the top right of the box.
94b1939.gif The areas worth noting are:

Screen Resolution
This slide bar is what you use to change the resolution, the options you have will depend on your graphics card and monitor, but the standard options are 800x600, 1024x768 and 1152x864.

When set to 800x600, means the display will be 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels high.

Color Quality
This pull down box will contain the current colour options available, again this will depend on your grahics card and monitor, for best results select the highest option available.

Do you use ie6?
IE6 is set up to resize the images based on the Display DPI setting. You can either set the DPI to the default (Normal - 96) or remove IE6's UseHR registry key to deactivate image resizing. Here are the relevant information (from Microsoft Knowledge Base):
Image Scaling in Internet Explorer (hi-res)

How to Activate Image Scaling
Internet Explorer 6 and later automatically adjusts the scale on higher resolution systems when the DPI setting is higher than 96 DPI and the "UseHR" registry value is added to the registry. These are usually done by the manufacturers of higher resolution systems.
_registry() warn.gifWarning!!!: Using the Windows Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems requiring the re-installation of your operating system and possible loss of data. I do not and will not support problems that arise from you editing your own registry. Use the Registry Editor and my directions at your own risk. Be sure that you create a backup of your registry and be very sure that you know how to restore it. If you are not sure how to do both of these things then STOP here!! and read the directions.
Set the DPI
These are the steps for changing the DPI setting on your system.

Right-click the Windows desktop to display the context menu.
Click Properties on the context menu to display the Display Properties dialog.
Click the Settings tab on the Display Properties dialog to display the Settings tab.
Click the Advanced button on the Settings tab to display the monitor properties dialog.
Select a DPI setting in the Display frame of the monitor properties dialog to change the DPI setting.
Restart your system to allow the changes to take effect.
    Add the UseHR Registry Entry
The UseHR value is added to the Main key under "Internet Explorer" as follows:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Right Click in the right pane and select New>DWORD value and set its data to 00000001
This problem can also be caused by bad video drivers. Update your drivers from the manufacturers site.
