I have no idea, but if lots of people are having this problem, it sounds like a case of shoddy manufacturing. I don't know what to tell you. My only suggestion is to get a usb keyboard and plug it in and see if that fixes the problem.

It looks like the laptop keyboard will need to be replaced. Go to Type: make and model of the laptop and refine search to keyboard. Before you go any further double check with external keyboard.

'b' and 'n' keys on keyboard no responding

It may be that these keys "contacts" (or "electronics" under the key itself) is not working or dirty. If you can remove the keys or the keyboard to check or clean it, it may help. That's what a service person will (first) try to do. If that doesn't work (or if the service person doesn't want to spend time testing it), just get the keyboard replaced.
Alternatively, if you can connect an external keyboard to the notebook and see if you get the same keys problems. If it doesn't happen, then, it's your keyboard.

You can try, and when you do most of the time the keys won't work again. I found that the only fix is to replace the keyboard.
Replacement keyboards are not that expensive, I purchased a keyboard from Yall Store. Click on this link to their WEB site :-

If you don't want to pay for servicing, use an external flexible USB keyboard. Check it fits in the bag.

Sorry to say most laptop keyboards come complete. But Toshiba laptop keyboards are not that expensive. The labor is usually more. Some laptops keys can be reinstalled, there is a metal wire that is the piviot and the other part snap in place...Contact a independent service tech will be cheaper than Best buy, or Staples , etc...
