Some things to check are to remove front cover and remove and clean filter if there is one. Check all condensor coils and if they are very dirty remove unit from case by unplugging it and sliding it out. Take it outside and wash it out rhourghly. Clean blower and oil if it has oil ports. Check to see that drain holes on the bottom pan are open and that when you reinstall unit that it is inclined so that condensation can get to drain holes.Check coils after unit has been running for several mins. to see if it is freezing up. If it is then check freon levels and add as needed. Good luck. Thank you

Quie possibly the drain hose is blocked. I assume that this is not a window unit. Therefore, there should be a place on the back or side for drainage. Find that.
Take a wire coat hanger and straighten it out. Carefully, thread the end up inside the drain. Do not force anything. If you run into a full stop, chances are that the drain has a bend in it. The best thing for this is a flexible ,wire wound curtain rod about 1/8" to 3/16" thick. Threading that up the drain should do the trick. That is about all you can do without calling a repairman. Good Luck.

Window air conditioner is spitting water

Hello, usually a window AC will spit water if the unit is not tilted back or if the drain is backed up, if the unit is level try tilting it back it the window somewhat. Also, if the unit does have a drain make sure it is not blocked.

I had my unit running in the dehumidifier mode. When I put it in another mode I hear lots of water and it spits water thru the vents. I have a 10,000 btu unit.

You need to tilt it back a little bit. 1/4" per foot. If the unit is 2 feet, from front to back, the back should be 1/2" lower than the front-MINIMUM.

My ac is spitting out water in the front and making a loud noise

Your noise is probably your fan hitting water. First try to tilt the ac to slant to the outside. If this is done water should drain to the outside if not your drain hole is blocked from the front to the back you can see this if you remove the unit and look at the front coil housing you will see a very small weep hole clean it out and use a water hose to clean the front coil and the back coil. good luck

My Lg split system air con spits water

Make sure the unit is tilted downward at the back. About 1" lower than the front is good. Even with a drain, the water will pool inside if it doesn't have a slope for drainage.

My vaporizer is making a spitting sound -

No salt, unless you had 0 steam - to stop water spit, throughly clean the water tank, just as clean as new. It will work like new if the tank is as clean as new! I dont know where the small particles of dirt come from, but trust me, I just went thru this with mine, it's got dirt in it!

Vicks caporiser is spitting water instead of steam

Clean the unti - and do not add salt. I live in a major hard water city...and was amazed at how much dirt the tank collected. I tried adding salt to to stop the spitting, which did make a lot more steam, but did NOT stop teh water spit. I also noticed, with salt added, water in tank would only last 4-6 hours, not the 18-24 hours it should. I just figured it out, and now mine works great again, and does not spit. I cleaned the water tank throughly, several rinses, then wiped out entire inside. If you want it to work like new, you have to keep your tank as clean as new. I am going to start filtering my water that I put in with a double pantyhose I made simply so there no more dirt ~ a clean tank will fix the problem, it did mine :)

Washing Tabs

Hi Zanussi do not recommend tablets for this machine as it is a jet system and uses far less water than conventional machines. it recommends liquids or loose powder to be used in the tray I know as I sold these for 10 years.
