Unfortunately if you plugged a 110 volt device into a 220 volt outlet your printers power supply is now fried.

Plugged 110v dishwasher into 220v

When you have a 220v outlet there are two wires that both supply 110volts, thus the 220volt rating. 110volts uses 1 wire that supply's 110 volts and the other wire is a "neutral" what is a non current carrying conductor. In other words there is no 110 volts on the second wire. Most of the time if you supply a 110 volt appliance with 220 volts you most definately fry something if not everything. Probably the main thing that blew was the control panel be it a computer board, dial switch etc. Sorry for the bad news but it might be cheaper to replace the unit than having it looked at and repaired

I accidentally plugged in epson nx110 to 110v when i shoudl have plugged it in 220v , burnt smell and no power at all

Not sure why it burnt going from 240 down to 110volts. The unit should not have worked. However, if it is a 110 volt machine and you plugged it into 240 volts... different story... At best you have blown the power supply board or board fuse.. At worst, the machine will be fried inside.

I plugged in my Epson Printer (110 volts) in Indian outlet (220 volts). Oops! Either the fuse or the transformer is affected and the printer does not turn 'on'. Want to know Epson authorized Service...

It may not be worth it to repair. I don't know the prices of printers in India, but here in the States they're low. If you've blown the power out it will usually cost more than the price of a new unit to repair.

Stove and broiler does not heat up. Haven't been able to cook

first you need to check your breaker, turn it off and back on,, if that doesnt work you need to check the volts in the plug and where the plug screws on to the stove, it should have 220 volts or 110 per side,, if it has the 220 volts(if it has the eletronic control pad) the board could be bad, (if it has the knob thermostat ) it could be the thermostat,, is the cook top working? if it is it sounds like a power issue, 110volts runs the top the other 110 volts runs the oven

the tv is fault, there is a lekage to ground, cause 5 amps is avery high current. plse take your tv to a w/shop and have the following checked
i rectifier diodes
ii power transistor, driver transistors, diodes, zener diodes
iii fusable resistors near the power transistor
iv making sure that a 90-110volts is getting out of the power supply to a line transistor, near the line trasformer.
the problem will be over

Fried Epson Stylus Photo 2200 by plugging into 220 volts in Europe

Buy a new/refurbished printer from They are cheap, come with a 1 year exchange warranty and do great prints. Prices for All In Ones start at $36USD, the ink costs more. I check Epson's voltage and I only found 115V AC, so you must use a transformer. I would also get a CISS and Waste Ink Container at the following:
Saves tons of money and never change or buy another cartridge.
