Try the following to see if it clears up your problem.
If you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > and under the General Tab go to Browsing History and click Delete to delete temporary internet files and cache.
If you are using Mozilla FireFox go to Options and then under the Privacy tab choose "clear recent history", make sure all the boxes except active logins are checked and then click Ok.
Now, close your internet browser and go back to facebook.com to see if it works. You may want to log off and back on.
