Hi Martin,
This is an indication of faulty power supply. The output of this section gone to out-of-regulation condition which is commonly caused of faulty filter electrolytic capacitor in the output of this stage. It will dropped the normal working voltage and will disable the unit. The processor can't initialize once there's a problem with the supply.
Another reason of this symptoms is still in the power supply. It has a multiple output voltages and if one of this voltages gone, the unit will not power up. This was caused by open fusible resistor, shorted transistor, shorted zener diode.
Also, consider bad solder joints in this section because it will do the same symptoms. Cracked, dried, cold solder will produced an out-of-regulation condition.
Let me know if your handy with electronics and I will guide you fixing the unit.
If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't troubleshoot the unit yourself, I would advice you to send the unit to your local Philips service center to isolate the faulty parts.
Check also if your unit is still under warranty/extended warranty, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Don't attempt to open the cover, it will void the warranty.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

Standby mode

If you have your soundbar connected via HDMI, look for an option to disable the link between your TV and your soundbar (when this option is on on the devices connected toghether, when you turn off/on any of them automatically does to the same with all devices).

I dont know how to turn it on.... it has no power button

There is really no power button only OPTION/PWR OFF button of your player.
If you press and hold the OPTION/PWR OFF button, the screen turns off and the player enters standby mode.
If you press any button while the player is in standby mode, the "Now Playing" screen, etc., appears
and the player is ready for operation. Furthermore, if you leave the player in standby mode for about 4 hours, the player turns completely off automatically.
If you press any button when the player is turned off, the start up screen appears first, then the "Now Playing" screen appears.

Thanks.
