Some some remote control have RST or RESET button, you have to push this every time you change the battery or for malfunction remote control. You can find this either in front of remote control or at the back of the remote in battery compartment.

Turn off the circuit breaker and wait 10 mins, then back on.
Turn off all units, wait a about 1/2 hr. See what that does. Also, Turn only one unit on at a time and let it run 5 min before turning on the secon and the same withe third. An what remote island might that be? Good Luck, Ned

Control seems to be working but unit not responding.

Check your remote control by using a camera or cellphone camera as your eyes to confirm if the remote control is ok. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and check if a light emits in your remote control transmitter. If no light then the remote control is defective, but if the light is present then the remote is ok and the unit receiver board itself is defective.

Check also if there is a reset or rst button on the remote control, press the button and test the remote.

What do I have to do?

Introduction Programming a Jasco/GE Universal Remote Control takes about seven steps. As with programming other remotes, you need to know the code of the component you are programming into the remote. While some trial and error may be required to get the right codes input to control your equipment, the pleasure at getting rid of several extra remote controls will far outweigh the hassle in getting it programmed. Instructions Difficulty: Easy Steps 1Step OneManually turn on the device you wish to program. 2Step TwoPress the Code Search button on the remote until the indicator light turns on. 3Step ThreeRelease the Code Search button. 4Step FourPress and release the button for the device you are programming. 5Step FiveEnter the three-digit code for the device using the number buttons on the remote. After the code is entered, the indicator light turns off. 6Step SixAim the remote at the device and press the power button. The device should turn off. 7Step SevenPress Channel Up on the remote with the device on. If the device responds, no further programming is required. 8Step EightTo look up a device code to enter directly into the remote, you can visit the GE Remote Code Locator SAMSUNG 002 012 102 103 112 212 502 512 818 914
