There are two things you want to check. Make sure the motherboard drivers are up to date. You can find drivers at the following link,

Also, you want to make sure the front panel wiring is correct and plugged in firmly. You will need to reopen the computer case and check this. Reference your motherboard manual for wiring confirmation. If you don't have this you can find it at the link above.
