The distance this device will do depends on your connection to it, be it on the 5.8ghz or .4ghz frequency. Some people get about 50-70% at 50feet, 25-50% at 100+ feet. If you have a clear line of sight to the router you may get up to 200+ feet. It really depends on your building structure and the amount of radio interference around.
